Position:  Project Engineer

​​

VRSI (Variation Reduction Solutions, Inc.) is seeking candidates for permanent full-time employment. We are a rapidly growing company in need of Project Engineers to support existing and future applications throughout many industries. Successful candidate will work with senior project managers and application engineers to develop and deliver vision-based solutions to our customers. Candidate will be responsible for installation, programming, and on-site or remote customer support for our systems.

Position Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Adaptable to new technologies

  • Ability to work independently and with a team

  • Willingness for domestic and international travel

Additional Experience and Knowledge Desired:

  • 0-3 years of experience in industrial and/or manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of industrial PLC logic and methods

  • Applied application experience with robotics and machine vision

  • Familiarity with statistical process control analysis techniques (SPC)

  • Strong mathematical background

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Capable of understanding electrical drawings

Position:  Vision Support Technician

​​

VRSI (Variation Reduction Solutions, Inc.) is seeking candidates for permanent full-time employment. We are a rapidly growing company in need of Vision Support Technicians to support existing and future applications throughout various industries and applications. Selected candidates will report to the Engineering Team Manager and work with Project and Application Engineers to troubleshoot, support, service, and maintain vision-based solutions in a wide range of technologies.

Position Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering technology

    • Preferred but not required given significant relevant experience​

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and skills

  • Ability to work independently and with a team

  • Willingness for extensive domestic and international travel on short notice

  • Expect 90% travel

  • 0-3 years of experience in industrial and/or manufacturing environment

Position:  Laser Tracker Operator

​

Laser Tracker Operators are required to travel to our customer sites throughout North America and by operating a FARO Laser Tracker, perform tooling certification, vision calibration, repeatability studies, and other inspection services. In some cases the operator may be expected to perform basic tooling work (i.e. drilling, bolting, pinning and shimming) that will require the use of tools or troubleshooting dimensional variances. In addition to any certification work, the operator must also be able to generate a certification report following department standards.

  • Inspection Services Manager

Job Skills Required:

  • Basics of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and spatial reasoning

  • Experience with CAD measurement software, preferably Verisurf or Polyworks software

  • 2+ years recent experience operating a laser tracker or as an experienced tool builder

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

​

Physical Requirements:

  • Work in an industrial plant floor environment

  • Up to 75% travel (domestic and international)

  • Work extended hours when required (over a scheduled 12 hour shift)

  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs without assistance

​
